ABOUT SMA

Founded in 2020, the Notre Dame Sports Management Association has quickly exploded into the third-largest business club at the University of Notre Dame. We strive to connect and expose our members with avenues in the sports industry as well as developing relationships to further professional opportunities for members.

MISSION

The purpose of SMA shall be to provide an opportunity for all students of the tri-campus community to step into the sports world that reaches far past this campus by exploring the career of sports management and creating a community of students that love sports.

GOALS

  • coordinate informative speaker events to gain insight for real-world experiences in sports management

  • establish a professional development series through workshops, case studies, and more

  • produce a community of sports lovers

  • create connections within the alumni database and expand our networking map

  • launch a mentorship program between first-year students and upperclassmen student leaders.
